Work with clients

Collect the facts once. Not over eleven emails.

Send a link. The client answers on their phone, no account needed. Answers land in the blanks of your draft as proposals you approve one by one.

Questionnaire → answer link → proposed fills → your approval

Lawyer to client. Legal to the business. Same rail.

In-house legal

Stop chasing deal terms over email. Send Sales the link.

The vendor owner or the rep answers the questionnaire; the draft on your standard paper is ready when they are done.
Paste the call notes or drop the Teams transcript — fills are proposed, you approve each one.
Turn-based comments and suggested edits keep one side editing at a time. No version chaos.
Lawyers · firms

Run client work through one place without losing your paper, your language, or your name.

A matter per client: contracts, drafts, deadlines and collaborators. Access is a scoped grant, never blanket.
Clients who drafted with some other AI can bring that paper in for a grounded read — and ask for you.
Quote before you see the document. Accept or pass; passing reroutes automatically.
02Call notes

The call becomes the draft. You still hold the pen.

Drop a Teams or Zoom transcript, an email, or your own notes. They stay visible as notes — never hidden context. Magic maps what was said onto the blanks and asks you, one by one.

Quote before you see the paper.

A client asks for review. Lawyers see the ask — type, pages, jurisdiction, deadline — never the document, until the client accepts a quote. Pass, and it reroutes to the next specialist.

04How it works

Define once. Send a link. Approve the answers.

01DefineA questionnaire per template. Each question maps to a blank; conditional questions follow optional clauses.
02SendAn answer link for a known client, or a public request form for the business. No account needed to answer.
03ApproveAnswers, notes and transcripts arrive as fill proposals. You approve, edit or reject each one.
04DeliverTurn-based redline, per-clause attestation and a provenance report — or dispatch to a lawyer who quotes first.

Eleven emails to collect five facts. One link. Five answers. Five proposals to approve.
Call notes in a notebook, retyped later. The transcript is parsed into notes on the matter. Each fill quotes the line it came from.
The client edits a Word file and you diff by eye.Turn-based suggestions with one-click apply. Append-only revisions.
A referral by phone; the document forwarded before engagement.Quote-before-access. The lawyer sees the ask, then a scoped grant on acceptance.
06When this happens

When the client surprises you.

WhenThe client drafted it with a general AI.ThenBring it in. It gets a grounded read and a deterministic provenance report — and the client can request a real lawyer from the same screen.client AI-draft door
WhenThe client’s paper is in another language.ThenYour template in that language works — blanks detected and filled, casing following the document. AI legal checks are marked unsupported, not guessed.language-neutral mechanics
WhenThe client changes an answer after submitting.ThenThe link is single-submission. The change arrives as a new proposal in the discussion, which you approve like any other fill.nothing lands silently
07Principle

The client does the typing. You do the lawyering.

01Answers are proposals.Nothing a client types changes the draft until you approve it. Your template text is never touched.
02Notes are visible, never hidden context.Transcripts and emails become notes on the matter that both sides can read. No secret prompt.
03Access is a grant, never a door.Lawyers get a scoped grant on one matter. Clients get a token that expires. Nobody gets the workspace.
08Said plainly

What it does not do.

It is not a client portal for everything. The external surfaces are deliberately minimal: answer, request, acknowledge, report an event. Nothing more is exposed.
Conflict screening is an advisory aid.It surfaces possible conflicts for a human decision. It is not an ethical-wall system.
It does not sign of record.Execution happens where you sign today. Import the executed copy and it becomes the tracked contract.
Everything on the collaboration rail

What ships with client collaboration

Questionnaire builderDefine the questions per template. Each one maps to a blank; conditional questions follow the optional clauses.
Public answer linksTokenized, hashed at rest, single submission, 60-day expiry, revocable. No account needed to answer.
Proposed fillsAnswers, notes and transcripts become fill proposals the lawyer approves one by one. Nothing lands silently.
Transcript & notes importTeams / Zoom .vtt, .eml, .txt, .md — parsed into visible notes on the matter.
Turn-based collaborationComments, suggested edits with one-click apply, turn enforcement, append-only revisions.
AI rewrite as suggestionSelect text → rewrite, or review the whole draft. Every result is an accept / reject suggestion.
Client AI-draft doorClients bring paper drafted elsewhere for a grounded read, a provenance report and an optional lawyer.
Lawyer dispatchRound-robin biased to specialists; accept or pass with auto-reroute; caseload inbox.
Quote-before-accessLawyers price the ask without seeing the document. Access is a scoped grant on acceptance.
Counterparty portal & share linksThe other side acknowledges obligations and reports events. A summary link shares exactly that and nothing more.

Questions people ask

No. An answer link opens in any browser, on a phone if they like. It is tokenized, hashed at rest, accepts one submission, expires after 60 days and can be revoked by you at any time.
Never directly. Every answer is a proposal to fill a blank you defined. You approve, edit or reject each one, and the template text around it stays exactly as you wrote it.
It is parsed into notes that sit visibly on the matter — you and the client can read them. Proposed fills quote the line they came from. Nothing is fed into a hidden prompt.
A lawyer receiving a review request sees only the ask: document type, length, jurisdiction, deadline. The paper is revealed only after the client accepts that lawyer's quote, as a scoped grant on one matter. Conflict screening runs as an advisory aid and is surfaced for a human decision.
