It stops. A finding without a verbatim quote from the paper is dropped, and anything with ambiguity — indirect exclusivity, a term “until superseded” — lands in the queue for a person. Nothing from the grounded lane tracks itself by default.
Yes. Amendments inside a file, narrative amendments (“Section 4.2 is amended accordingly”), and separate amendment documents are linked into a family. The effective term is computed, the superseded clause kept, and the conflict shown before anything downstream moves.
