The commitments behind the numbers, dated and sourced.
Payment terms, price escalators, termination fees and auto-renewals as a forward view you can close the books against — every figure traced to a clause, every excluded contract counted.

WEEK 1 · WHAT WE OWEPayables by date, from payment terms across every amendment.Amendment 3 moved Acme to Net 45; the invoice date moved with it. You were told.
WEEK 2 · WHAT GOES UPIndex-linked escalators listed with the cap, the clause and the annual cost.$27,600 a year sits in two uncapped clauses. One renews in December.
WEEK 3 · WHAT IT COSTS TO LEAVETermination fees and notice periods totalled per vendor.Globex: $145k fee until Jan 15, then $37k. Procurement decides with the number.
WEEK 4 · WHAT IS NOT IN THE NUMBERNine contracts excluded from totals — unparsed values, junk counterparties, one in review.Counted and listed, so the gap is a task, not a mystery.
What changes
Numbers you can defend.
Analytics that guess are worse than none. Here a figure exists only when a confirmed clause supports it, and what was left out is shown alongside what was counted.
Cash commitments by datePayment terms, recurring fees and one-off obligations projected forward from the governing terms.
Escalator exposureEvery CPI or index clause with its cap — or lack of one — and the annual effect at today’s index.
Trust gates on every totalValue ceilings, $0 for non-monetary families, junk counterparties excluded from rankings. Exclusions listed.
Renewal pipeline in dollarsWhich contracts renew when, for how much, and whether the notice window is still open.

03The escalator register
Every uplift, its cap and its cost.
Index-linked and list-price increases listed with the clause that creates them, the cap if any, and the annual effect. Unparsed values are excluded — and shown as excluded.

05Principle
Every figure traces to a clause, or it does not appear.
01Parsed values only.A value counts when it comes from a confirmed clause and validates as money. Ceilings catch parsing errors.
02Non-monetary families count as $0.Confidentiality and exclusivity are tracked, not priced. They never inflate a total.
03Exclusions are listed, not lost.Unparsed values, junk counterparties and items in review appear as a count next to every total.

Questions finance asks
From a value parsed out of a confirmed clause and validated as money, with the clause and page attached. If a value cannot be parsed the contract contributes nothing and is listed as excluded, so you can go and get the exhibit.
The family resolves to a governing truth. The new term takes effect, the superseded clause is kept for the record, every downstream date moves and Finance is notified. Nothing silently keeps serving the old value.
Saved views export to CSV, and signed webhooks fire on events like contract.tracked and obligation.reminder.delivered for Zapier or Make. There is no ERP connector yet; the export and the webhooks are the honest answer today.
