Portfolio & tracking

Every contract you hold, as one picture you can trust.

Renewals by month. Exposure by vendor. Where the next decision sits. Numbers only from paper that was read and confirmed — the rest is counted, not hidden.

Renewals · exposure · concentration · fulfilment — with the gates that keep them honest

The register is where the questions get answered.

Legal · procurement · finance

The renewal calendar, the vendor spend and the exit costs — from the paper, not the spreadsheet.

Migrate a shared drive of PDFs in one job. Duplicates merged, families detected, nothing tracked until a person says so.
Vendor profiles with owners, documents, and every live commitment. Concentration and exposure computed from confirmed values.
Rights, not just risks: renewal options, exit windows, audit rights and price protections you can act on.
Lawyers · firms

Every client's paper in a matter, with the dates that matter surfaced first.

Matters hold contracts, drafts, deadlines and collaborators per client. Access is granted per matter, never blanket.
Search in plain language across clause text, counterparty, type and value — and land on the clause.
Share a tokenized summary with a client, or let them acknowledge obligations in a minimal portal. Nothing else is exposed.
02Counterparties

Four spellings of one vendor become one vendor.

Suffixes and role annotations are stripped, near-matches are proposed, and you confirm the link in one click. Exposure and renewals roll up to the real relationship.

03Two shelves

Tracked chases you. Reference never does.

Not every document deserves a reminder. The register separates the contracts that run your follow-through from the ones you simply need to be able to find — and lets you move a document between shelves any time.

04How it works

From a shared drive to a picture you trust.

01ImportConnected drive, CLM export, spreadsheet plus files or a zip. Columns mapped, duplicates found, dry run first.
02ResolveFamilies detected, near-duplicates decided, counterparties normalised and linked with your confirmation.
03ShelveTracked runs follow-through. Reference stays searchable and silent. Move documents between them any time.
04ReportPipeline, exposure, concentration and fulfilment — with trust gates on every total and exclusions listed.
05Before · after

The register used to be a spreadsheet and a hope.

The way it wasWith ClauseMinds
Renewal dates in a spreadsheet, updated when someone remembers.Computed from governing terms. Amendments move them automatically.
Vendor spend from accounts payable, after the fact.Exposure from confirmed clauses, before the fact. Excluded contracts listed.
“How many contracts do we have?” takes a week.A register with two shelves. Ask it in plain language and get the count with the list.
Every document gets a reminder, so none of them land.Only the Tracked shelf chases. Reference is read, searchable and quiet.
06When this happens

When the data is messy — which is always.

WhenThe source drops halfway through a 1,284-file import.ThenNothing is half-done. 795 complete, 489 not started, one button to reconnect and resume.resumable · dry-run first
WhenTwo vendors turn out to be the same company.ThenA link is suggested with the reason — suffix stripped, role annotation removed. You confirm; exposure rolls up.a suggestion, not an action

07Principle

A number without a clause behind it is a rumour.

01Parsed values only.A figure exists when a confirmed clause supports it and validates as money. Otherwise it contributes nothing.
02Excluded data is counted, not hidden.Unparsed values, junk counterparties and items in review are listed with the totals they are missing from.
03Every bar opens to the contracts behind it.Click a month, get the contracts. Click a contract, get the clause.
08Said plainly

What it does not do.

It is not source-to-pay.No purchase orders, goods receipts or invoice flows. It knows what you committed to, not what you paid.
No ERP or DMS connectors yet.Saved views export to CSV and signed webhooks fire on events. That is the honest integration story today.
Early portfolios show fewer numbers.Trust gates mean a fresh import with unparsed values reports less — visibly — until the exhibits are in.

Questions people ask

From values parsed out of confirmed clauses, validated as money. A contract whose value could not be parsed contributes nothing to the totals — and is listed as excluded so you can fix it. Non-monetary families count as $0 by design.
Run an import job: point it at a connected drive, a CLM export, a spreadsheet plus files or a zip. It maps your columns, finds exact and near duplicates, detects families, dry-runs the plan and then runs — resumable if the source drops. Nothing is tracked until a person decides the shelf.
No. Only the Tracked shelf runs follow-through. Reference documents are read and searchable but never chase anyone, so an expired NDA or a superseded version does not generate noise.
Yes, narrowly. Tokenized share links expose an obligation summary; the counterparty portal lets the other side acknowledge obligations and report events. Neither exposes the rest of the register.

Bring the whole shared drive.

One import job. Duplicates merged, families found, nothing tracked until you say so.
