Import a file · from a template · or describe it — three doors, one desk

Starts from paper you already trust.

Legal · procurement · sales ops

The business drafts on your standard paper without waiting on Legal.

Import the company NDA and MSA once. Sales fills the blanks from a questionnaire; the wording never moves.
Playbook and completeness checks run as the draft assembles — Legal only sees the ones that deviate.
The deadlines this draft would create are previewed before signature, and tracked the moment it is signed.
Lawyers · firms

Your precedents, your house style, your name on the clause.

Your .docx is the template — kept byte-verbatim. Blanks, bracketed defaults and optional clauses are detected, never guessed.
Describe a document in plain language and get a first draft grounded in your own reference library — never freeform.
Attest each clause when you are satisfied. Edit the wording later and the attestation lapses — by design.
02One spine

A drafted clause and a tracked deadline are the same thing.

Most drafting tools stop at signature. Most trackers start there. Here the commitments you preview while drafting become live obligations the moment the paper is signed — no re-upload, no handoff.

Checks run as you draft, not after you send.

Coverage against what this document type usually contains. Consistency between defined terms and the clauses that use them. Playbook. Law-bound flags. Everything lands as a suggestion you accept or reject — never a silent edit.

04How it works

Three doors. One desk.

01Choose a doorImport a file, start from a template, or describe what you need. All three land on the same drafting desk.
02Gather the factsA questionnaire link to the client or the business, pasted notes, or a call transcript. Every answer is a proposal.
03Assemble and checkClauses fill from your paper and name their source. Playbook, coverage and consistency run on every edit.
04Review and attestSuggestions accepted or rejected; clauses attested one by one; a provenance report printed for the file.
05Before · after

Ask a general AI to “write an NDA” and hope.Assembled from your own library. Every clause names its source. Zero freeform.

The signed PDF goes to a folder. The draft becomes the tracked contract. Nothing is re-uploaded or re-keyed.
06When this happens

WhenYour template has an optional clause in brackets.ThenIt is detected, never invented, and offered as keep-or-drop per draft. Your wording is untouched either way.optional clauses

07Principle

A first draft you would have written — because you did.

01Your paper, byte-verbatim.The imported template is never regenerated. Fill happens inside your own text runs.
02Your positions, checked as the draft assembles. The playbook, coverage and consistency checks re-run on every edit and land as suggestions.
03Your name, one clause at a time.Attestation is per clause, fingerprinted and lapses when the words change.
08Said plainly

What it does not do.

Describe → draft will refuse rather than invent. If your reference library has nothing to ground a clause on, the draft says so instead of writing freeform text.
Non-English templates work; non-English checks don’t yet.Blanks detect and fill in the document’s language. AI legal checks are marked unsupported until a gold corpus clears review.
Templates are governed on the template, not the draft.Versioning, revert and lawyer approval live on the template so every draft inherits a reviewed baseline.

Live checksPlaybook, completeness, consistency, market benchmark, deadline preview — re-run on every edit.
Suggestions, never silent editsAI rewrite on a selection or a whole-draft review both land as accept / reject suggestions.
Template editor with versionsVersion, revert and record lawyer approval on the template itself.
Commitments previewThe deadlines and standing terms this draft would create, visible on the desk before signature.
Provenance reportDeterministic, per draft: who touched it, what was checked — and what was explicitly not.

Questions people ask

No. The file is kept byte-verbatim. Fill happens surgically inside your original text runs, so styles, numbering, headers, footers, schedules and signature blocks stay exactly as you saved them.
Not freeform. Describe → draft assembles from your workspace reference library and records what each clause was grounded on. Where nothing suitable exists it says so, rather than inventing wording.
Your own document works in the language it is written in — blanks are detected and filled, and casing follows the document. Automated legal checks are offered on English text only today; other languages are marked unsupported rather than guessed.
It stays the same object. The commitments previewed while drafting become tracked obligations with owners and reminders the moment the signed copy is filed. No re-upload, no second system.
