Two Plans, No Guesswork
Pay for active contracts and operational outcomes—not storage or page count. Drafting, redlining, and client collaboration ride on the same plans. Every obligation you track ties back to source text. The contract limit is a hard cap, and it is written on this page: 30 on Starter, 300 on Team.

The contract count is a standing total of everything in the workspace, not a monthly flow, and it is a hard cap: at the limit, new uploads are refused until you delete a contract or move up a plan. Each plan includes an AI assistant allowance for drafting and answering questions; heavy months can add credit top-ups. Everyday tracking, reminders, and obligations never use credits.
FAQ
Common pricing questions
What counts as an active contract?
Every contract in the workspace. It is a standing total, not a monthly flow: 30 on Starter, 300 on Team. The count does not reset at the start of the month, and it does not fall when a contract expires — it falls when you delete the contract. Once you reach the limit, new uploads are refused until you delete something or move up a plan.
What's the difference between Starter and Team?
Starter ($99/mo) is built for one person: 30 active contracts, 2 users, and the full drafting, extraction, risk, obligation, and exception-queue workflow. Team ($399/mo) is built for people working the same contracts: 300 active contracts, 10 users, 3 workspaces, and it adds governing truth (effective vs raw across contract families), the action center (blocked, overdue, and unassigned work with SLA tracking), analytics and reporting, and integrations. If you're on your own, Starter. If you're handing work between people, Team.
How does the free trial work?
Pick Starter or Team, add a card, and get 14 days of that plan free. We email you three days before the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then at no charge. If you don't cancel, the subscription starts automatically at the plan price you chose. One trial per account.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. When upgrading, you get immediate access to the new plan's features and limits. When downgrading, changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
How does the AI assistant allowance work?
Every plan includes a monthly AI assistant allowance for drafting and answering questions about your contracts. If a heavy month runs through the allowance, you can add credit top-ups—and everyday tracking, reminders, and obligations never use credits. The contract limit is separate, and it is a hard cap rather than a guide: at 30 contracts on Starter or 300 on Team, the next upload is refused until you delete a contract or upgrade.
Is there an annual discount?
Yes. Starter and Team are approximately 17% off when you pay annually—you pay for 10 months and get 12. Use the toggle above the pricing table to see annual prices.
When do I need Enterprise?
When you need something the self-serve plans don't carry: API access for programmatic contract, obligation, and action management; SSO/SAML; extended audit logs and retention policies; a dedicated or customer-owned deployment; or volume beyond Team. Pricing and limits are negotiated.
What is customer-owned deployment?
Enterprise teams can run ClauseMinds in infrastructure they control, with a guided setup wizard—your databases and file storage stay in accounts you own, with encrypted provider tokens during provisioning and handoff when you are ready. A managed private deployment (a dedicated stack that ClauseMinds hosts and operates for you) is the alternative. Both are Enterprise; see the deployment pages for detail.
Outcome-based pricing that scales with you
We charge for what matters: active contracts, governed obligations, and completed actions. Not storage. Not page count.
Active contracts
One number, counted per workspace: 30 on Starter, 300 on Team. It is a hard cap — reach it and the next upload is refused until you delete a contract or upgrade. No page counts, no per-seat surprises.
Governing truth
Effective vs raw views across contract families. One source of truth per obligation type—included from Team up.
Action center
Blocked, overdue, and unassigned actions with SLA tracking. Know what needs attention before deadlines slip.
